About Tarot Card Reading

In a tarot reading the cards act as a set of pictures that prompt a conversation. Each card has a traditional meaning, and its place in the spread (past, present, what is ahead, what to watch for) shapes how it is read.

The reader combines the cards with his own intuition and experience. You are not handed a fixed fate. You leave with a clearer picture of the situation and some options to think about.

A tarot deck has 78 cards, each with its own image and meaning. In a reading the cards are shuffled and laid out in a spread, and each position stands for something: the situation, the challenge, the influence around you, the likely direction.

Tarot works well for a specific question, such as a choice between two offers, or how to approach a hard conversation. The cards give your reader something to describe and you something to react to.

Who Comes for This

Signs You May Want Tarot Card Reading

What Happens in Your Session

Tell the reader your question, or let him begin with a general spread. On a video call you can watch the cards come down. On a phone call he describes each one as it is placed. Allow 30 to 45 minutes.

Step by Step

  1. Think of one question and phrase it openly, for example 'What should I know about this job offer?'
  2. Join by FaceTime so you can see the cards laid out.
  3. Your reader shuffles and lays a spread, often three to ten cards.
  4. Each card is explained in turn, then the cards are read together as a story.
  5. You ask follow-up questions and may choose to pull one more clarifying card.
✦ Before you call

Ask 'how' and 'what' questions instead of 'will' questions. They produce more useful readings.

Questions

Do I need to know anything about tarot?

No. The reader explains each card as it appears.

Is tarot different from a psychic reading?

They overlap. Tarot uses a deck as its starting point, while a psychic reading is more open and may not use any tools.

Is a tarot card of death bad?

Not usually. In tarot it more often means an ending and a change, not a physical death.

Can I ask yes or no questions?

You can, but open questions give richer answers than yes or no.

Do you use your own deck?

Yes. The reader uses his own deck, and on video you see every card clearly.

Can I have this by phone or FaceTime?

Yes. Sessions are held by phone or FaceTime anywhere in the USA. We have associates in every state, so in-person readings can be arranged in your city. Ask when you call.
